Featured Speaker

Bridges4Justice is pleased to welcome Eddie Byun as our keynote speaker this year. Eddie is the author of the Reader's Choice Award winner Justice Awakening: How You and Your Church Can Help End Human Trafficking. His other books include Praying for Your Pastor: How Your Prayer Support Is Their Life SupportPraying for Your Missionary: How Prayers from Home Can Reach the Nations, and A Light in Darkness.

He is the executive producer of Save My Seoul, a documentary on sex trafficking in South Korea, which won "Best Documentary" at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival. His new documentary, Slavery in Silicon Valley, will be released soon.

Currently, Eddie serves as the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and Associate Professor of Christian Ministry at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, in La Mirada, California. He lives in Orange County, California, with his wife and son.

Josh Calhoun



Worship Leader

Josh Calhoun was born and raised in Wisconsin, where he was introduced to Jesus and music.
In 2004, while attending Judson University, he and his brother, Ben Calhoun, started a group named The Least of These, which would later become known as Citizen Way. Josh was known for providing vocals, guitar, and keys in the band. He is a co-author of some of their most successful songs, such as “Bulletproof” and “How Sweet the Sound.”

Josh is now the Creative Arts Pastor at Faith Community Church, leading hundreds in worship every weekend.

Darla France, a therapist and trafficking survivor, will equip ordinary people with practical tools to be an extraordinary Christ-like presence to support healing of trafficking survivors and others who carry trauma.

Lauren Walder, Bridges4Justice Prayer Facilitator, will equip and empower participants to engage in mountain moving prayer in the spiritual battle against human trafficking.

Inside Look: Trafficking in Asia

Anti-Trafficking workers with years of experience in Asia will open our eyes to the realities of trafficking in Asia, what can be done to stop it, how rescues take place, and the process for restoration of trafficking survivors.

Freedom businesses bring transformation to women and families as women are able to earn income with dignity. Learn how you can come alongside these women by hosting a sale and promoting sales in your community.  Presenters include Beth Tuggy - B4J Operations Director, Lori Easton - Sales Advocate Facilitator, and Priya Misra - Owner of a freedom business located in a crowded red light district in Kolkata.

God calls men to be a force against human trafficking. Learn how you can step into the fight and fulfill God’s call to be a part of the solution. A guided discussion will be led by James Allen, Pastor of Swanlake EFC in Minnesota and member of the Bridges4Justice board.

Protect Our Kids in a Digital World

In today’s world traffickers with highly manipulative strategies are coming right into our homes by way of  the internet, connecting with our young people.   Mike Powers, Youth Pastor at Faith Community Church will equip and empower us in ways to keep our children and youth safe in this digital age.

Becoming a Micah 6:8 Church

Learn more about how Bridges4Justice can serve and empower your local church to engage in the fight against human trafficking.  This is a session especially for pastors and church leaders but all who are interested in mobilizing their church to fight human trafficking are welcome. It will be led by Pastor Jesse of Faith Community Church and Pastor James of SwanLake EFC and board member of Bridges4Justice.

Trafficking in Our Own Backyard

Human trafficking is taking place right in our local communities.  Learn how it is happening and how collaborative efforts are required to stop human trafficking.  Presenters include local anti-trafficking workers.  Local anti-trafficking Presented by Heidi, Executive Director of the Rock County YWCA; Gina, social worker at the YWCA; and Rock County Anti-Trafficking Task Force

Global Refugee Crisis and Human Trafficking

Today the world is facing the largest global refugee crisis in the history of the world.  Refugees are highly vulnerable to schemes of traffickers.  Presenters from World Relief will help us understand the gravity of the crisis, the vulnerability of refugees, and the church’s responsibility to engage in caring for refugees.

 Bridges4Justice is a grass roots movement of ordinary people who dare to believe that God can use them in the fight against human trafficking.  We can’t do it alone, but together, united with God, we are a powerful force in fighting human trafficking. Bridges4Justice leadership team will present practical ways you can fight human trafficking. Learn how you can join others as a Bridges4Justice Bridge Builder.
