Lori lives in Peculiar Missouri with her husband of 46 years. They have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and have been foster parents for numerous young people over the years.
Lori earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and Journalism and has worked in banking and journalism and served as a Parent Educator for more than 10 years.
She volunteered for 20 years as a Girls in Action (mission’s education) leader, Operation Christmas Child year round volunteer and continues to teach preschoolers in her local church.
As a Bridges4Justice volunteer Lori enjoys connecting with women and children in our partner’s programs in India through sewing training and hands on activities.
Here in the U.S. Lori connects with volunteers as B4J Sales Advocate Coordinator and a member of the sewing team. She also markets B4J handmade products through her small business, Hands Across the Seas.
Lori finds joy in encouraging every woman to discover her voice and the freedom to be God’s uniquely designed child.
Gardening, sewing, reading (especially historical fiction), hiking and bicycling are favorite leisure activities.
